Little Journey: UI/UX Design
Little Journey is a healthcare tech start-up, providing an app for children going to hospital appointments. The app uses friendly language and approachable characters, helping to reduce anxiety and stress by delivering helpful, necessary information, curated by the hospital staff, and through VR technology which shows the user exactly which hospital rooms they will visit.
Little Journey provides a product in two parts; an app for children and families, and an online portal for hospital staff to customise the app content for their patients. To approach the challenge of designing both sides of this product, certain aspects carry across, such as the use of icons, colours and common assets (buttons, dropdown menus, etc.) to ensure each side of the product is distinct and suitable for their users while also being recognisably part of the same product and brand.
